Case Summary  |  A Case of Acne

During my young adult years, I started experiencing major breakouts on my face. I tried soaps, masks, gels, creams, and just about everything else to no avail. My sister, who also struggled with acne, passed to me a product by Neutrogena called "Clear Pore Cleanser/ Mask." I had experienced satisfactory results using Neutrogena products in the past, so I thought I'd give this one a try. I was very disappointed with the results of this product. I first tried using this product as a mask one night. I had a major breakout that week, so I thought the mask would at least help to shrink my pimples. However the mask made my pimples look worse. My pimples became red, like they were about to burst. My acne did not improve that night or the days following. I experienced many of these same results when using the product as a cleanser also. I was highly disappointed in the product especially since it cost a hefty 7 bucks. I have high respect for Neutrogena, but this is one of their products I won't continue to use.
