Case Summary  |  Car accidents pains!

Condition Knee Articular Cartilage Damage
Case Description

I was in a car accident in 2001. I was rear ended from behind. I was at a stopped position and the woman who hit me was traveling at 60 mph. I suffered a whip lash, lower back problems and torn cartilage in both knees. I have seen countless doctors over the years. My treatments range from pain killers to needles in my knee, back and head to relieve the pain. Truthfully I don't think that the pain will ever completely stop. There are times I am able to control it by simply taking it easy or resting various area. The draining of the fluid in my knees will need done every so often because I am in so much pain at times I can't take it. I have opted not to have surgery because I had heart surgery 15 years ago and frankly the thought of going under scares me to no end.
