Case Summary | Chiropractor for Scoliosis
| Condition | Back Mid (Thoracic) Scoliosis |
| Case Description | In 7th grade, I dislocated a few of my vertebrae in my neck while playing indoor soccer. I went to my chiropractor for help, and in all the scans he took, he also found that I was developing early stages of scoliosis. At first, I had to visit him about three times a week to get adjusted. The visits gradually decreased, as did the pain and progression of the condition. Now, 7 years later, I still go back at least once a month. If I don't, my shoulder and back ache terribly. I'm not sure why this ever developed, but I doubt that the hunched-over-a-computer-monitor-ways of the pursuit of my Graphic Design degree helps. It's definitely a treatment I'd reccommend if such a condition is caught early on. I have no visual signs of its presence, and I didn't have to pay for all sorts of expensive, experimental surgery. Sure, I have to go there once a month, now, but I always feel excellent afterwards. However, if I don't, I am in a lot of pain, which is a mega-downside. |
