Case Summary | Chronic Inflamatory Demylenating Polynueropathy
| Condition | General Extremely Low or No Flexibility in Joints |
| Case Description | I had a severe infection in my groin area that hospitilized me for several months and required multiple surgeries to treat. When the infection was finally taken care of I had a weakness in my entire body that I attributed to the infection and treatment. Despite physical therapy over the next two months the weakness got worse until I was almost bedridden. After 4 months I found a nuerologist who diagnosed me with CIDP and put me on steroids and IVIG. This brought back about fifty percent of my strenght but caused my diabetes to go out of control and had to be stopped. In the last 4 years I haven't gotten worse but also haven't gotten any more strenth back. |
