Case Summary | Constant headache
| Condition | Head Chronic Headache |
| Case Description | I've had constant headaches my entire life almost on a daily basis. As a child my mother was told that they would probably go away after puberty. Puberty has come and gone and still I had these excruciating headaches. Tired I finally went to see my doctor as an adult. I was told that I've been suffering from migraines. Because I had these headaches 3-4 days a week my doctor prescribed medication(topamax) a seziure medication that would help prevent them from even occuring. Helping reduce the number to once or twice a month. This medication did help however the side effects were too much to handle. Presently I'm off the medication and I'm back to square one. My next option at the moment is to visit a doctor from the pain management department. I've also been told of botox injections and acupuncture. |
