In 1996 I fell landing on the areas around the base of my neck. It took six months to feel the full effect because it was a slow growing pain that ended with me feeling hopeless crying in bed. A chiropractor looked at my x-rays and said I had had a whiplash. I had lost most of the curve in my neck. It's supposed to be 30 and mine was 6.
I suffer with some form of pain in one of the three areas (head, neck and shoulders) and at times all three every day. Chiropractic keeps it in check but doesn't get rid of the pain. I'm on flexural, and Loritab but even that doesn't work every time.
