Case Summary | Hemophilia knee bleeds
| Condition | Internal Hemophilia |
| Case Description | I twisted my knee which caused it to swell and become very tender and painful. I did my hemophilia medicine and putting heat on it to make it feel better. I was forced to change my sleep because of the pain. This was probably the worst bleed I've had in te last year but something like this happens to me once a month or so. Walking and swimming make my joints stronger so they are more resistant to bleeds but they still happen. The antihemophiliactic factor 8 did the most to help but changing sleeping positions, heat, and stretching made it feel better. The walking and pool exercise made it stronger. |
