Case Summary  |  Herniated Disc

Condition Back Lower (Lumbar) Herniated Disk
Case Description

I had an automobile accident. Initially, I did not know that I had herniated a disc in my lower back until after a full body MRI. The pain was excruciating and I had the shooting pains down my left leg. I recieved several cortisone shots into my spine over several months and I had physical therapy. I was prescribed pain pills. Unfortunately these things gave temporary relief but what has really helped me deal with my back pain is excercise AND BC powders. If I don't walk at least 2 miles a day for 3 days out of the week, I get the bad pain and can hardly move.
