Case Summary | Hip Pain Fixed By Rubber Ball Therapy and Tai Chi
| Condition | Hip Pain |
| Current Status and How Case Started | Initial injury happened in track while I was sprinting back in 1995. I felt a pop and pain started after that. I did not lose much range of motion and could still run (just with pain). I saw a doctor a month after and he recommended a cortisone injection which just made everything worse. I learned to live with pain as several physical physical therapists and an orthopedist could not figure the root cause. Eventually a couple of years ago I learned about trigger point therapy using the lacrosse or tennis balls and it started to help |

| Treatment Combo | Tai Chi + Ball + Tennis Ball Massage |
| Treatment Result | Helped a lot |
| Treatments Description | Tai chi has strengthened the muscles surrounding the hip. When they muscles tight (after sitting too much or running) I use a rubber ball (harder and smaller than a lacrosse ball) to work the deep muscles. |
