Case Summary  |  Knee Issues

Condition Knee Pain
Current Status and How Case Started

At the age of around 40, my knee began to bother me. I was an avid runner since I was 10 years old, and was always working out. I always did the p90x routine, and I began to notice my knees giving out in the middle of workouts. This was very disheartening for me because I always cared about working out and feared I would not be able to workout again. I went to my family doctor and she put me on some painkillers and recommended a knee brace. Given my history with running, she believed that the excessive pressure put on my knees was the cause. After a year of using the knee brace, I did not need to use the painkillers anymore. I continue to use my knee brace, and have no issues.
