Case Summary  |  Knee Tendinitis caused by flat feet and saved by orthotics

Condition Knee Tendinitus
Case Description

I started having issues with both my knees six years back during my High School Track season. I was diagnosed with Knee Tendinitis and flat feet. My doctor told me to get fitted shoe inserts (custom orthotics). After about 6 months I started to feel less pain and at about a year I did not feel any pain at all. I wear my orthotics with most my shoes and haven't had knee tendinitis symptoms come back.

Note: I also stopped lifting supper heavy weights during the leg workouts. I try to do more reps instead. Ice helped after workouts.
