Case Summary | Labrum Tear in Shoulder
| Condition | Shoulder Dislocation |
| Case Description | My labrum in my right shoulder was torn during football practice. I continued to play the entire year, and after the season was over I went in for surgery. The surgeon discovered anterior and posterior tear of the labrum. The surgery required over one hour and two weeks after surgery I started rehab. Rehab was with our athletic trainer, and it was 3 days a week for the first two weeks, and after that it was 4 days a week. The rehab sessions usually lasted about 45 minutes and afterwards I would get ice wrapped around my shoulder. I am now 100% and just finished another season on injury free football and am currently in involved in throwing shot put on the track team. |
