Condition Arm Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Case Description

I have many medical problems ranging from collagen vascular, fibromyalgia, mitochondrial myopathy, strokes, carpal tunnel, reflux, cataracs, diabetic2, asthma, restless legs, raynauds. I started having pain in my joints after the birth of my third child in about 1975 at age 23. I have been to various doctors, clinics like university of Michigan and Cleveland, mri, cat scans, spinal tap, and had many, many tests over the years. In 1994 a doctor put me on prednisone which caused me to go cushings. In 2001 I had surgery to repair an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
about 4 years ago..3 months after going to cleveland clinic i went into a coma and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. IO spent the week of christmas in the hospital. i had surgery on an abscess and found i was diabetic 2. i spent the next 3 months with nurses in my home to pack the abscess and measure the tunnels. i am currently bed ridden and have problems finding a doctor because they do not want to take severe cases like mine. i go to pain control once a year and the last neurologist i saw told me "get a good diabetic doctor because there is a problem with the pons area and the rest of my complaints there is nothing they can do for these." my doctor told me my stomach problems could be muscle cut when i had the abdominal aortic aneurysm surgery and there is a brace i can wear but he says very hard to put on so he will not prescribe it
