Case Summary  |  Loose lower back tissue due to pregnancy

Condition Back General Postpartum Back Pain
Case Description

Quickly after giving birth of my son in 2008 I started to experience some extreme lower back aches. I consulted a doctor and they ran a series of tests. They determined that nothing was wrong with my levels so they decided to do some scans and examinations. They could clearly fill that my muscles that loosen to allow for pregnancy were not returning as they should so they sent me to a physical therapist. I went for many months and my back did gradually become better but I had to stop attending due to relocation. So I had to resort to pain medications and muscle relaxants. I found that these helped aide me in my daily routines so I decided to stick with them. Mobic didn't seem to work too well but naproxen and robaxin combined seemed to do the trick. robaxin. It is now 2010 I am still experiencing these pains but they are not far as bad after going through the treatments.
