Case Summary | mild case of osteoarthritis
| Condition | Knee Osteoarthritis |
| Case Description | My knee problem started when I was in high school although very lightly. whenever i would walk alot my kness would begin to ache. Also, during cold days my kneees would pain and make a crackin noise when i squatted. As i grew older, the problem grew with me. I noticed while in college that everytime I neglected my diet or consumed alot of alcohol my knees would hurt alot.It is at this point that i made the connection between diet and my knee condition. Today I am very particular on the kind of food I prepare and how much i exercise. Weight management and healthy diet has been very instrumental in managing my condition. I have tried to include more fruits and vegetables in my diet to aid weightloss as well as provide nutrients like calcium, vtains and iron for healthy bones. A couple of months ago i started taking omega 3 and more oily fish and my kness feel great. I also try to execise constantly which has helped alot |
