Condition Shoulder Rotator Cuff Injury
Case Description

Was involved in a rear-end car accident. The rotator cuff was torn and the shoulder was knocked out of position. Surgery was performed and I was hospitalized for 6 days and they used IV medications to control the pain. After 8 weeks I started therapy and did so for 12 weeks to regain motion and break through the scar tissue that built up because of the surgery. It has been many years and I still have problems with pain and do not have full range of motion. I use heat and anti-inflammatory medicines to help control the pain.

relieves some pain for short term.
