Case Summary  |  My lower back

I started having a lot of back pain that would go into my left leg. After 2 months and a MRI O had my 1st back surgery. It helped a lot. That was end of 2004.
In the spring of 2006 I started having the same symptoms again and after another round of physical therapy, pills and MRI, my disc had herniated again.
Had another surgery. This time, it didn't helped a lot, just some.
More physical therapy, hydrotherapy, pills, after 5 months I started to get better.
6 weeks ago, my back started hurting a lot again. Went back to the doctor, got another MRI, and was told that the only way now is for me to have a fusion of my L4 and L5 discs.
I'm very concerned. Don't really know what to do.
