Case Summary | My Patello-Femoral Solution
| Condition | Knee Patello-Femoral Syndrome |
| Current Status and How Case Started | My knee pain began about three months into a serious routine of rehearsals for a dance performance. It's ongoing but it has gotten a lot better and sometimes seems to go away for a while. |
| Dates | March 15, 2004 - Ongoing |
| Treatment | Physical Therapy |
| Treatment Result | Helped a little |
| Treatments Description | My dance teacher sent me to a physical therapist who worked on helping me strengthen the thigh muscles that my dance training did not favor. By neglecting those muscles I caused extra pressure on my kneecaps which lead to pain, so making the muscles stronger did ease the pain a little. |

| Description | Icing the knees didn't make the pain worse overall, it was slightly uncomfortable (cold) at first but during the treatment it helped numb the pain. But after leaving the PT office it didn't make my knees hurt any less. |
