Case Summary | neurocardiogenic syndrome
| Condition | General Fainting |
| Case Description | I moved to a hot environment and after catching a virus my defenses were weak. I was in the middle of a reunion when I fainted for the first time, after that it would happen at least once a week. I felt weak and always lightheaded and without energy, usually eating sugar helped me but it was stressfull not knowing why that was happening. Sometimes I knew I was about to faint because my legs felt heavy but sometimes a qucik movement like standing up or bending down would cause me to faint. At first it was stressful because I thought it was stress but I went to the doctor and I was connected to a tilt table and it took 3.4 seconds for me to faint when it was tilted, after that with the proper treatment I got better. |
