Condition Knee Osgood Schlatter Disease
Case Description

Osgood Schlatter is a knee condition that can be congenital or can be caused by sports injuries. In my case it caused severe pain just below the knee during physical activity. The doctor told me to treat it with lifestyle changes such as losing weight and avoiding vigorous physical activity for a time (I know, those bits of advice are rather at odds). He also suggested ibuprofen for the pain when it was intense. All of these treatments did help me feel better-- the pain is mostly gone.

I was advised to watch my weight and to avoid stressful activity to the knee such as vigorous exercise.
