Case History & Details
| Treatment | Corticosteroid Cream |
| Treatment Result | Made worse |
| Description | I stopped using Corticosteroids after a complication (in the last three or four months I was using them twice a month). I got a blurry spot in my central vision in the eye that has psoriasis on the eye lid. I saw an optometrist immediately. He dilated my eye and also took some pictures and found a fluid bubble in the back of my eye. The condition is called central serous retinopathy. The first treatment is to stop using any steroroids. It should resolve in six to eight weeks. I went back to just using lotion. previous current status: I started getting psoriasis (according to one dermatologist) or eczema (according to another) about five years ago in 2006. Elbows and knees were very easy to fix with corticosteroid cream. However, eyelid condition keeps reoccurring. |

| Treatment | Aquaphor Ointment - Eucerin |
| Treatment Result | Made worse |
| Description | It's been almost eight weeks without corticosteroids (also much lower alcohol consumption). Central serous retinopathy is almost gone. For about six weeks I was using Clinique lotion and my eyelid was doing ok. About two weeks ago I switched to Eucerin and the skin acted up (see image). I can't think of the other reason. I actually applied corticosteroid cream today just to help with the flare up. previous current status: I started getting psoriasis (according to one dermatologist) or eczema (according to another) about five years ago in 2006. Elbows and knees were very easy to fix with corticosteroid cream. However, eyelid condition keeps reoccurring. |
