Case Summary | Right Knee Pain
| Condition | Knee Lateral Meniscus Tear |
| Case Description | My right knee was injured during training to deploy to Iraq with the Army. After the doctor examined and had test ran on my knee, it was confirmed that my lateral meniscus had been torn, along with bone fragments, fluid, and depleted cartilage. I had a knee arthroscopy to check for any missed problems and to repair problems that had been identified. After the surgery, I was put on a PT program 2-4 times a week for 6 weeks, and after that time period 1-2 times a week, at my discretion. Overall I am happy with the procedure that was done and with the results after everything was completed. |
