Case Summary  |  Seborrhoeic Dermatitis on My Face

Condition Skin Seborrheic Dermatitis - Cradle cap
Case Description

I started to have little red rashy areas under my eyes and on near my nose. I was concerned because I wasn't sure what was going on. I made an appointment with my GP and he quickly diagnosed Seborrhoeic dermatitis. He explained that this is not something that is necessarily "cured" but can e easily controlled with a steroid cream treatment. He prescribed a very strong steroid cream (2.5%) to use daily on these areas with a really minimal use. It cleared up quickly. The condition does occasionally reoccur (especially in cold and windy weather) but treatment with this cream inevitably clears it up and it doesn't become a greater problem.
