Case Summary  |  Severe coccyx pain

In May 2010 I was helping my brother remodel his bathroom and after sitting straddle the tub for about 3 hours I was in great pain. The rest of the weekend I had to be helped up from a sitting position. After my 3 hour drive home I had to get my wife to come out and get me out of the car. After 2 rounds of pain meds and nsaids I had a little relief and was told it was arthritis starting. Well about a month ago I decided that there has to be some relief and tarted surfing the web and made a new appt with dr. he sent me for a mri and found little, he is treating with pain meds and sending me for a cortizone injection. any advice would be great
