Case Summary  |  Shin splints, the pain from hell

Condition Leg Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome
Case Description

Im an avid track and field coach and while jogging with the team i coach, i jumped over a large rock and was forced on the ground due to the agonizing pain of my knees and upper leg. I was later diagnosed with shins splint and had suffered a minor stress fracture of my knee. They wrapped my entire right leg with medical tape and a metal brace. They recommended me to buy a set of crutches though i refused and decided to walk on it. Today the pain has gone way but wish i had got the clutches since the pain made me unable to coach the team for close to 2 months and probably would have subsided earlier if i wasnt so stubborn.
