Case Summary  |  Skin Tag Excision

A skin growth about a half an inch long formed on my right side a few inches below my armpit. When it was bumped or scraped while working it caused pain inordinate to what surrounding tissues would experience.

An office visit to a dermatologist had the growth excised in less than a minute from start to finish. The bandage was a tiny round adhesive bandage. The practitioner numbed the area with an injection of a local anesthetic, prepped the area, and removed the growth with a scalpel.
