Case Summary  |  Tennis is fun, tennis elbow is not.

Condition Arm Tennis Elbow
Case Description

I am 36 years old and have played tennis my entire life. My tennis career has been injury free for the most part.

That all changed in July when I was diagnosed with tennis elbow. I had a lot pain around my forearm and wrist and noticed some weakening of my grip. I had tried ice and ibuprofen with no luck. My doctor referred me to a physical therapist who showed me a series of exercise and stretches I could do at home.

I took a couple of months off from tennis and continued with the treatment plan the physical therapist had given me. While my pain is not all gone, it is much better. I am looking forward to getting back on the courts in the spring.
