Case Summary | Years worth of hip Pain
| Condition | Hip Pain |
| Case Description | Describe what happened, how you treated it, and what's going on today I included much of what happened in the above boxes. The initial chiropractor I saw helped me the most. He reccomened that i use propper posture, especially while sitting or driving, and I dont know how much that helps but I have kept that in mind. THe later chiropractor that I saw actually made my problem worse, to the point where my hip hurt so bad at night that i couldnt sleep. One leg was longer than the other, which he said was a problem in the SI joint. If I keep my leg muscles STRONG, i dont have as many problems. regular exersize is really the key for my hip pain. Sitting in the car on long trips or sitting at a desk all day really bothers me. THankfully i have a very active job and an active life. THe pain gets really bad sometimes, but i will continue to see chiropractic treatment from a GOOD doctor that i trust to adjust me using heat therepy as well. When my hip first started hurting me, I saw the chiropractor who showed me that my legs were of different lengths. He applied heat and then adjusted me, and recommended plently of exersize (like running, strenthing the legs, etc). As long as I keot doing that, and going to see him once a month, I did well. |

Case History & Details
| Treatment Combo | Traction + Range of Motion Exercises + Stretching Treatment + Heat Therapy + Proper Posture + Pilates |
| Treatment Result | Helped a little |
| Description | I saw a different chiropractor who recommended these things and used them on me (heat, ultrasound, electro stim) They sometimes helped, but not much. I dont think they made much of a difference in the long run. Stretching, increasing my range of motion in my hip flexors, and exersize like pilates helped a little. |

| Treatment Combo | Anti-inflammatory Medication (NSAID) + Ultrasound + Massage Therapy + Orthotics + Change of Sleeping Position |
| Treatment Result | No change |
| Description | None of these things ever helped. Taking pain relievers never helped, unless they were strong like darvoset (which helped a littttle bit) or hydrocodone which helped and put me to sleep (which i needed). Ice packs and massage did not get deep down to the bones, which is the root of my problem. |
