Head Chronic Headache Treatment

Ongoing and repeated problems with headaches are called Chronic Headaches. A headache is a pain or discomfort in the head, scalp or in the neck. The pain may be mild, moderate, severe and etc.

There are several types of chronic headaches: chronic tension headache, chronic migraine, etc. Some people with headaches can feel much better by making lifestyle changes, and occasionally by taking medications. Because there is no single cause for headaches, it is very important to establish the right diagnosis.

The diagnosis is usually based on the history of symptoms. The goals of treatment for headaches are to prevent further attacks and relieve any current pain.
